His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received on Tuesday a phone call from HE President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Hassan Rouhani on bilateral relations and the means to enhance them in all fields.

The call also reviewed the efforts of the two countries in containing the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation in that field. In that regard, HE the Iranian President expressed his thanks and appreciation to HH The Amir for the medical aids provided by the State of Qatar to the Iranian people during this global crisis.

The call also reviewed the latest regional and international developments, particularly the ones related to maintaining security and stability in the region.
