His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Hassan Rouhani, held today an official talks session at the Republican Palace in Tehran.

The session discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them to broader levels, especially in the fields of economy, trade, investment and tourism.

Talks during the session also tackled several regional and international issues, especially the latest developments in the region and means for calming; avoiding further escalation and peacefully settling differences in a way that contributes to achieving security, peace and stability in the region and the world.

Their Excellences members of the delegation accompanying HH The Amir attended the session along with lineup of Their Excellencies Iranian ministers and senior officials.
