His Excellency Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, received the credentials of His Excellency Ambassador Saad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud Al Sharif as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This took place this morning, Monday, September 30, 2024, when Dr. Pezeshkian received His Excellency the Ambassador at the Presidency of the Republic in the capital, Tehran, and received his credentials from him.

His Excellency the Ambassador conveyed to His Excellency the Iranian President the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, and His Highness's wishes for health and success to his Iranian counterpart, and for the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran for progress and prosperity.

For his part, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian conveyed to Mr. Saad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud Al Sharif his greetings to His Highness the Emir of the country, and his wishes for the government and people of the State of Qatar for further success and stability.

During the meeting, the latest developments in Qatari-Iranian relations in various fields were reviewed, as both sides stressed the importance of developing them and moving forward to raise them to the best levels.
