HH The Amir, Iranian President Hold Official Talks Session


His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi, held today an official talks session at the Republican Palace in Tehran.

During the session, bilateral relations between the two countries in the political, economic and trade fields were discussed, in addition to enhancing prospects for bilateral cooperation in the sectors of tourism, investment, transport and communications.

The talks also dealt with a number of regional and international issues, especially the latest developments in the region. 

The session was attended by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, HE Chief of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, HE Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani.

On the Iranian side, the session was attended by HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, HE Minister of Energy Ali-Akbar Mehrabian, HE Minister of Roads and Urban Development Rostam Qasemi, and HE Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade Reza Fatemi.

An official reception ceremony was held for HH The Amir, upon his arrival at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic.
