His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Hajri, participated in a meeting organized by the Iranian Ministry of Health to honor the heads of missions of countries that have contributed to providing vaccines and medical aid to Iran since the beginning of the pandemic, in the presence of His Excellency the Iranian Minister of Health, Dr. Bahram Ain Allah .

In his speech during the meeting, His Excellency the Ambassador indicated that the State of Qatar, under the directives of His Highness the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, may God protect him, sent 5 shipments of urgent medical aid to Iran during the past two years, with the support of the Qatar Fund for Development In coordination with Qatar Airways.
