Urgent relief aid provided by the Qatar Fund for Development to the Islamic Republic of Iran

The Qatar Fund for Development sent urgent medical aid to the Islamic Republic of Iran, through the air cargo fleet of Qatar Airways

 And in coordination with the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Tehran, represented by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Chargé d'Affairs at the Embassy.

 

 This aid comes in support of the State of Qatar for the efforts made by Iran in combating the emerging coronavirus pandemic, COVID-19.  The aid, which weighs 3.5 tons, includes materials and medical supplies to combat the outbreak of the epidemic.

 

 It is worth noting that this is the fifth shipment provided by the State of Qatar through the fund to the sisterly Islamic Republic of Iran since the outbreak of the pandemic.

 

 This medical assistance provided by the State of Qatar to brotherly and friendly countries comes within the framework of the Qatari efforts to combat the spread of this epidemic, which represents a common threat facing the whole world and based on the common international responsibility.  and help them to overcome this crisis.
